SWISH UPDATE:

Friday Nights: 5-8 Girls and 7/8 Boys at Mass Maritime Academy.

Saturdays: Grades K-6 at Bourne High School

Please follow the existing game schedules with regards to specific times.

We are continuing to work on practice schedules for Grades 3-8. We appreciate your patience as we try to find gym time for 22 teams.

For games held at Mass Maritime Academy, please be aware of the following:
• There is no spectator seating.
• Please enter through the main athletic center entrance and proceed up the stairs. There is an elevator to the right if needed.
• Because the floor is composite, game shoes cannot be worn outside. All players must carry in game shoes and change prior to the game. Salt and sand can be damaging to this floor.
• We will be strictly enforcing the water only policy in the gym.

For games held at Bourne High School:
• There is no spectator seating for games K-4
• Please enter through the ramp entrance.
• The floor is brand new, please wipe your feet before entering the gym.
• We will be strictly enforcing the water only policy in the gym.

We are so excited to be able to continue SWISH games without interruption.




Here is some important information regarding the league:

Registration Dates: October 2nd- October 27th. Space is limited in each division, and registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Program Dates: December 1st-February 3rd
(No Games or practice Dec 18-Jan 1st)

Grade Requirements: Grade levels in each division are strictly adhered to.

Cancellation Policy: Games cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances will not be made up unless the schedule allows. When Bourne Public Schools cancel activities, SWISH is cancelled.

Refund Policy: Program withdrawals on or before October 27th will receive a partial refund. Refunds will not be issued after November 10th except with medical note. 

We are unable to accepts requests for specific coaches and/or team mates.

All teams are coached by parent volunteers. Teams will not be formed until each division has enough volunteer head coaches. Once head coaches are assigned, an assistant can be picked from the team roster, should you want/need one. Practice times will be allotted in the order in which volunteers commit to coach. 

Grades K&1 Co-Ed: Practice on Saturday mornings. Instructional time followed by a brief scrimmage. Scrimmages are controlled by the coaches, score is not kept, and there are no referees.

Grade 2 Co-Ed: Practice on Saturday morning. Instruction followed by a brief scrimmage. Scrimmages are run by high school/college age students with knowledge of the game. Score is not kept.

Grades 3/4 Boys and Girls: Boys and Girls play in separate divisions. 1 practice will be held during the week; specific day and time will depend on team. Games played on Saturdays. Referees are high school/college students. Score will be kept.

Grades 5-8 Girls: 1 practice during the week. Games are tentatively scheduled for Friday evenings. Games will have certified referees. Score is kept.

Grades 5-6 Boys: 1 practice during the week; specific day and time will depend on the team. Games played on Saturdays. Games will have certified referees. Score will be kept. All teams make the playoffs. 

Grades 7-8: 1 practice during the week; specific day and time will depend on the team. Games are played on Friday evenings. Games will have certified referees. Score is kept. All teams make the playoffs.

Practices will be held Monday through Thursday evenings at the Bourne Community Building. Grades K-2 do not have a weekday practice. 

We run on a 45 minute game schedule and strive to stay as close to schedule as possible. Unfortunately, sometimes unforeseen circumstances happen that may make games run late. 

SWISH UPDATE: 11/6:   3/4 Boys and 7/8 Boys Divisions are FULL. Please join the waiting list if you still wish to register. We are unable to place any more players in these divisions at this moment. Should someone cancel their registration, you will be notified.
