Here is some important information regarding the league:
Registration Information: As of November 22nd, the number of volunteers & participants will determine the number of teams in each division. After November 22nd, there is no guarantee that a roster spot will be available in specific divisions. If spots are available fees will increase by 20% and registration will re-open December 1st through December 6th. After December 6th registration will remain closed.
Register by November 22nd to guarantee a spot!
Registration Dates: October 2nd - November 22nd
Program Dates:
January 4th - February 22nd (Grades K-5/8 Girls)
*Please note, the 5-8 Girls division is moving back to Saturdays
January 3rd-February 21st (7/8 Boys)
Grade Requirements: Grade levels in each division are strictly adhered to.
Cancellation Policy: Games cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances will not be made up unless the schedule allows. Cancelled practices will not be made up. When Bourne Public Schools cancel activities, SWISH is cancelled.
Refund Policy: Program withdrawals on or before November 24th will receive a refund minus a $15/player registration fee. Refunds will not be issued after November 24th except with medical note.
Due to the number of players, we are unable to accept requests for specific coaches and/or team mates. This also includes picking specific assistant coaches.
All teams are coached by parent volunteers.
Grades K&1 Co-Ed: No week day practices. Saturday mornings: 25 minutes of instructional time, followed by a scrimmage. Scrimmages are controlled by the coaches, score is not kept, and there are no referees.
Grade 2 Co-Ed: No week day practices. Saturday mornings: 25 minutes of instructional time, followed by a scrimmage. Scrimmages are run by high school/college age students with knowledge of the game. Score is not kept.
Grades 3/4 Boys and Girls: Boys and Girls play in separate divisions. 1 practice will be held during the week; specific day and time will depend on team. Games played on Saturdays. Referees are high school/college students. Score will be kept.
Grades 5-8 Girls: 1 practice during the week. Games are scheduled for Saturday afternoons. Games will have certified referees and will be played on a full court. Score is kept. All teams make the playoffs.
Grades 5-6 Boys: 1 practice during the week; specific day and time will depend on the team. Games played on Saturdays. Games will have certified referees. Score will be kept. All teams make the playoffs.
Grades 7-8 Boys: 1 practice during the week; specific day and time will depend on the team. Games are played on Friday evenings. Games will have certified referees. Score is kept. All teams make the playoffs.
PLAYOFFS: All teams is grades 5-8 will make the playoffs. Playoff games will be held the week of February 24th.

Practices will be held Monday through Wednesday evenings at the Bourne Community Building. Grades K-2 do not have a weekday practice.
We run on a 45 minute game schedule and strive to stay as close to schedule as possible. Unfortunately, sometimes unforeseen circumstances happen that may make games run late.
